Emerson Lottery at BLADE Show

BLADE show knives should go to people that went to blade to try to score an Emerson IMHO . I'd love to get the chance ,but it wouldnt feel right knowing some guys went out of there way trying to score one at blade and the mishap after that .

The easy solution is to just hold on to these knives and double the knives for next year.

I don't see that being the easy solution at all, that's an awful lot of money for EKI to be setting on till this time next year.

I highly doubt money will have anything to do with it.

Mr. E hasn't raised his table price to what they can be so that proves it isn't about the money.

Ultimately, it's Mr. E's decision.... So why even worry about it?

Yeah. Good one bro.

That proves nothing... he's a very successful businessman so he has to be about money.

There were 54 knives being brought to Blade according to the list Mr. Emerson provided, my point was that is a lot of inventory and money for a custom knife maker to be setting on for a entire year.

Who knows he may very well decide to do that, I guess once a decision is made we will know and until then it's all speculation.

Yep. Agree completely.

Sitting and gathering dust and having to pay taxes on Inventory is not where you want your money. Have to turn it. Your are correct this is basic business 101 stuff. Course im sure ernie isnt hurting for money and if he wanted to he could hold it, but why? So many better and fair ways to solve this isssue than sitting on it for a year.

It does prove something and if you think he's only about money then you really have no idea.

Maybe you should take the time to actually read and comprehend what I wrote before you go quoting me, then perhaps you might have an idea.

I never said he was ONLY about the money... as I said he's a very successful businessman so he has to be about money, that's a fact whether you agree with that or not.

Since this thread seems to have been derailed somewhat I'm going to bow out of this conversation with you, hopefully it can get back on track... you have a nice day.

Cool bro.

Anyway, it's awesome that the knives didn't end up in some dirtbags collection or just simply lost.

All I know is that someday I want to have a Tiger, a CQC-6, CQC-11. All customs, all black.
