Emerson on Ebay

Hello, This is my first post. I found an Emerson on Ebay. Item # 1028722954. It is not with the other Emersons. It is a CQC-7 wave. The description says that the blade is marked incorrectly. Would Emerson Knives let something like that out of thier factory?

since the SOCFK basically has the same blade as the Waved CQC7, i believe this was due to the factory pple assembling the wrong blade on the wrong knife...not really the labelling error.....

I'm pretty sure this actually is an error marking, the SOCFK doesn't have the same grind as the CQC7B, they are close but not this close.

Unless the owner changed the markings himself this would be a marking error.
This is not a SOCFK blade placed in CQC7 handles, tried that, didn't work, i think that the reverse would work though?
(if i remember correctly someone here did just that)

I really like the looks of the plainedged/waved CQC7B's, striking!

Many will recall the mismarked 6's from the 1999 NYCKS. So technically yes, it could happen.

2Sharp is right. The SOCFK blade does not fit the CQC-7 handle but the CQC-7 blade will fit the SOCFK handle. I called it the Franken-Seven.

Thanks for the welcome and the opinions. I have a commander that is my daily carry knife, but I realy like the tanto blade.
