Emerson pivot lubrication, what do you use?

While I have sometimes used Chris Reeve Grease, what seems to work better and last longer is Finish Line Extreme Fluoro PFPE Grease. It is less expensive and comes in a dispenser that makes it really easy to apply.

Since I have the Tri-Way washer sets from several Hinderers, I am definitely going to check this recommendation out. Thanks -
I did try substituting the PB and Teflon washers for the Nylatron washers, and it made a huge difference. My CQC-15 is now completely smooth. Thanks so much for this option.

That's a great tip!

Thanks!
Thank you this just helped me. I at least have this around the house. I just got a bulldog and would like the action to be a little better wow I am breaking it in but feel reluctant to put lube in. Did this work for you and what else may have worked for you with your Emerson. It looks like mine has the Teflon washers and maybe it’s me but one is a bigger sized than the other.

I'm looking for the sizes/source of the pair of Teflon/PB washers that are a drop-on replacement for the thick Nylatron OEM washers... just want to give them a try in one of my Emersons.

Thanks for any info,
Bob

I am also curious about the mention washer sets. Nothing wrong with the standard Emerson washers but smoother is better right?
