Up for sale is a new Emerson/Pro-Tech CQC7 Auto prototype. Serial number in the 20's (I'll look when I get home, but it does not have G10 buttone) and this is the straight edge version, I'm keeping the serrated. Its new but has been flipped open a couple of times (who wouldn't :D)

I did a little web searching but turned up nothing. Do you have specs on the knife (dimensions, materials, etc.)?
 
Whoa this is crazy, being an Emerson fan and a Protech fan... can you tell us more about this? Is this product of a botched collaboration?
 
Blade is same specs as a CQC7, cutting edge ~3.25" with an OAL ~8" and the handle's are Aluminum. This is not a botched collaboration but one that is in the beginning stages. This run of prototypes was just released at the USN show. I know they had one at the Denver show but don't think they actually sold any there. This batch of prototypes was a limited run of 75. Not sure when they will be up for general sale
