I am the original owner of this knife. It was carried intermittently during the first year or two that I owned it, and it has been used lightly. Unfortunately, I was less than diligent about cleaning it before it got set aside. It has been in a padded case since 2002; only having been removed 3 times - all fairly recently - for pictures.
The edge is original, and still sharp. There is no side to side play, but the action is tighter than some may like - this is the way I received it; and I have never made any adjustments to the pivot screw.
