I really don't do much drinking these days, I ride an Italian scooter and I listen to mostly prog and jazz fusion. Guess my Roadhouse just isnt a good fit for me after all. That's not to say that someone with far better tastes than my own wouldn't appreciate this knife in their pocket or collection!
This is the original roadhouse, NOT the mini or super. Blade is satin, combo edge and 3.8 inches in length. Production year is 2011, s/n 279. I am the first and only owner of this knife to date. When I bought it, I had my pick of 4 of the same models. This was the one with the absolute best lockup. You Emerson fans know what I mean!
I carried this knife for only a month before rotating in another EDC. Use was limited to very basic duties. I remember opening a few boxes and that's about it. While the edge is no longer "hair popping", it's still super sharp with zero nicks, chips or damage to the tip or cutting edge. The serrated area of the blade has gone completely unused and is factory sharp. I've had the knife apart only once for a cleaning and to apply a little reeve grease. Hardware is a-ok and all threads in the titanium liners are perfect. No loctite added.
There are several scratches on both sides of the blade. Mostly where the angle transitions to the tanto tip. The g10 also shows light pocket wear. Looks like there is a copper colored mark just behind the pocket clip screws as well. Probably from hitting a rivet on my jeans while "waving" out of my pocket. All blemishes are clearly visible in the photos linked below.
