This has been carried by me lightly, and not really used. I have sharpened it up a bit. It does show some carry signs but nothing too serious, the pivot also has a few marks from adjusting the action. It's pretty smooth and the lockup is solid, unless you open it really lightly. I don't know if I have the box around anymore either. Centering is a tad off but not rubbing.
