Emerson Serrations?

Congrats on the knife :) if you feel that you need serrations after you have used the knife you can accually send it in to Emerson and have them to put serrations on the knife for a small fee. good luck with it :)

I'm a full PE guy or a full Spyderco SE guy. I don't like having both, it does nothing well for my uses. The serrations aren't long enough to do heavy cutting and the PE part is only on the tip. This is just my preference. Get a fully serrated Spyderco Stretch and let me know what you think.. it's amazing.. cuts anything.. even slices well. Sharpening is a pain though.. we'll at least not near as easy as a PE. I think you did just fine with the PE.

In my experience a good sharp plain edge can do anything that a serrated edge can. I've cut through ropes, duty belts, heavy leather, etc all with a plain edge, just keep it sharp!

Mine too! I was gonna say the same thing a nice sharp PE will cut just as good as a SE or PS knife , I only own Pe knives and have no use for serrations period, I also keep my knives super super sharp so no need for serrations for this guy. Why saw your way through something when you can just slice that baby with that razor charge chisel grind!
