Emerson stop selling knife to Thailand?

Emerson knives has always been part of my EDC here in Thailand. Being a business owner in a service industries I can certainly understand both side of the argument.

There are many loyal customer here in Thailand who greatly appreciate his knives and support his work. It is my sincere hope that a solution could be found in the near future that would resolve this problem in a manner less devastating to the loyal Thai fan.

I am sure if you contact EKI Customer Service they have wire transfer info to send them payments. So you can still get real Emerson's from the source.

Thank you for your suggestion. I am no stranger to direct order from manufactures.

To be fair, buying from local authorised dealer is a lot easier. The cost of individual shipping, tax, wait time and dealing with Thai postal's bureaucrat can be a major headache to prospective buyers.

Still Emerson remain my faithful EDC. CQC 11 and lagriffe neck knife are some of my favorite amongst my collections.
