emerson vs SOG quality ?

People sniff at SOG mostly I found, but I have another aware. I have just got in a SOG XV71, ATS-34 steel with 60HRC, advanced Arc-lock, good look shape of blade, slim handle,light weight, everything are better than others, whereas it's price, only 109$, has higher ratio of f/p. I think the SOG Vision is a pure EDC folder even though it's price raises up to 195$.
 
The Titanium handled Vision is the best EDC i've had.

Carries well, handles well, and performs well.

I can't say to much good or bad about ATS 34, because (Like an Idiot) I removed the bevel, realized what a fool i was to do so, and put it back, it holds an edge pretty well, but i can't help wondering if it would not be better if i had left it alone.

Then again, every knife I get has it's edge compared to a little Solingen surgical stainless blade I have, and not many can stay in the running with it, concerning maintaining an edge.
 
I agree, I have the discontinued night vision (g-10 handles), best ever ! The vision I have seen for around $150 some places. Both are top of the line IMO.

Have to agree with Mr. Talmage on the quality of the Vision (assuming he is referring to the Titanium handle version).

Not nearly as impressed with any of SOG's other folders.

I look forward to getting my hands on an Emerson some day so I can compare them.
