I have a cqc7 that developed late lockup to 100 percent. I sent it in a couple months ago. After a month I got a little worried that something was up, because I had not received an email saying they got it, or a phone call to pay the return shipping fees. Well a few days ago I opened the mailbox and there it was, lockup fixed and shipped for free. Thanks Emerson.
 
This is good to hear! My oldest modern knife is a cqc7 from the early 2000s and is still going strong. It is nice to hear they stand behind their products.
