emersons for utility

My CQC10 is the King of Utility.
However, at the OPs price point, you can't go wrong with either choices mini comm or horseman. The thing about sd knives, tactical, or military knives is primarily they are duty (utility) knives. My cqc7 served me many years on duty as my "tactical" knife. Did I use it hard? Admittedly, I did. It served as my utility blade, back up, and sd tool. My son has it now. Horseman-we all love it for everything. The commander is a workhorse. Ernie owns a working ranch. It has been his primary for years. I'd say of those two, go with the one that captures your attention most. The one that has the most curb appeal. Take pictures and let us know.

The 15 has been serving me well as an edc. Enough recurve to cut awesome but not too much. The tanto makes the tip of the blade tough as nails. The chisel edge has a learning curve at first. It did for me at least, but iv come to love it. When its sharp, its shaaaaaarp. For more delicate work the horseman or a100 would probably be better. I make the 15 work for me because its so awesome.

Just purchased my first Emerson today! I was looking for a good utility EDC blade as well and the Endeavor fit the bill perfect. Not your typical Emerson tactical blade shape. Nice drop point. Picked it up at my local Emerson dealer for $168.00. Slightly above your price point, but still in the ball park i think.

The Horseman is a great blade for utility... Some people find it hard to sharpen a chisel edge but once you get the hang of it, they are very sharp.

I used a mini emerson a-100 (traded it off) that worked great for cardboard box disposal. My spydercos sliced better but i always like carrying it and kinda want another.

Like the looks of that one, dc! It has that well used look.

Had the pleasure of going to work today....with my Emerson! I fkn love it! The wave is a super nice feature, handle just felt "right"in my hand and blade shape is perfect. My only gripe...my knife pocket is gonna catch a beating. That G10 is gonna eat up my denim. But you know what? I could care less, the knife is tough as nails! Definitely NOT my last Emerson. And for anyone that's got concerns over fit and finish...yeah, it ain't "perfect", but it's a tool made to be used...you want a show knife, get a Sebenza.

The Emerson G10 is bittersweet for me -- I really like the aggressive grippyness of their G10 yet it eats up my denim. I just live with it b/c I really like Emerson knives.

Glad you're diggin' your Endeavor!
