I was trying to link a friend to the info about the Patriot knife on Emersons site.

This new site is awful, the link at the top of the page that shows all the knives is gone and neither of us could figure out how to get the site to show any knife that is not shown on the original page.

We both gave up on it, with my buddy grumbling that his 14 year old daughter could have designed a better designed site than this POS.

Why in earth did they ever change anything, the original site layout was head and shoulders better than this one!!!

Thanks for the kind words. My wife has spent countless days and hours helping design it. I understand that as with any new website change there will be some bugs that we have to work out. Are you looking at it on your computer or mobile device? I just went through both and didn't see any problems finding the knives.

Works fine for me. Tried it on 3 different browsers with no issue. Also tried it from mobile, works there as well. With the mobile version you have to access "Knives" through a mini menu but that was just one small tap to get to.

I am using the latest version of IE on a Surface Pro tablet.

This is all I see on the opening screen:

Where is the tab to click on to show "all knives"?? It used to be clearly available right at the top.

Because your tablet is a "mobile device" the site is automatically opening up in the mobile version. Click the top right set of horizontal lines. That's the MENU icon. Is a standardized symbol in most mobile websites.

OK I see that now, first time I clicked it that took me to the shopping cart.

The original site was much better layed out & far less confusing.

Site should be set up to be as easy to use as possible, this site definitely isn't as easy to use as the original site was.

It is more modern and mobile friendly. I agree at the menu should be more obvious. I have used the 3 horizontal lines so many on other websites that I instantly knew what it was. If you aren't use to seeing them it is really confusing.

I think a better thread title would have been, "I don't understand the new Emerson website, can someone help me?"
Instead of what you posted in the EMERSON forum!

I like the new website. I think it looks great and is easy to navigate.

I agree, not that I am speaking for the op but I imagine that title was written out of total frustration. Obviously he is a good guy following the same Emerson path we are all on. Maybe a different choice of words would have been prudent.
