Emotional Support Chat: Waiting for your knife

I'm waiting on a 911, KD/SH and a RH. It seems like its been a while on the 911, but the other two were from BLADE.
The waiting IS the hardest part.

Nothing on order, but saving up for a BAIII. That could keep this thread alive for a long, long time.

It will be worth the wait saving for the BAIII, took me a while as well. here are a few to pass the time for ya.....

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

okay now that i have that out of my system, good morning everybody :)

Hopefully some of you (reads ME) will get your notice this week that busse is sending you a present... Good Luck!

Good luck, the wait always stinks but it is even worse when you go to your mailbox and their is the "missed delivery" message and you have to wait another day for pickup.
post pics when they arrive.

The longest wait I had was from the exchange ... bought a DFLE off a guy in Canada ... that was 6 weeks to get here in the UK ...

These wait times are longer than I remember from the shop ... but perhaps the brain fades out the bad memories ...

My first "exchange" Busse was a FFBM ... I blame Noss ... anyway I did'nt really like the balance and feel on it but not knowing better before I got it ... I paid a load extra to get it express delivery from the States ... think it was an extra $60.00 ... it only took 3 days !!!

Shame really that I could'nt get to liking it ... the only Busse I have ever felt like that except for a BATAC LE which is another real heavyweight for a smaller knife ...

Just personal preferences for those that have them and love them ... we're all different in our taste ...

I got the DFLE soon after the FFBM ... I remember thinking "why did'nt I do this the other way round " ... the DFLE back then was one of the top lightweight models in Res C ... this is all pre Basic 10's and 11's ...

For those who are abroad and join this thread you have my sympathy ... we always wait a long time and it can be made worse if you have a customs hassle ...

As Wolfdad says ... you have to "embrace the wait" ... ;)

Welcome to BF sir... now go order a Busse and never look back ;)

Just fyi (not at all trying to get rid of you, cause you're very welcome here)

Randall forum is that way ------->

Just joined and first post.
Ordered a Randal #27 back in 2007... shipping to me this week.

Welcome to the Busse Forum mate ... lol ... you make our "gripes" seem like small cheese with a 5 year wait !!

There are a few on here who also like Randals ... so for your first post on BF you are more than welcome to add another :D

I try to keep a knife on order and often. That way the wait is a common feeling and not as pestering as it could be.

2 weeks!

NOOOOO!!!

you're welcome here sir! we need new blood. I was just messin with you.

Seriously, we have all types here. If you love to waste your money on sharp stuff, stay, and post pretty pictures!

I can't be the only one who downloads the photos of the actual knife I am waiting for so I can glance at the photo every now and then while I am waiting!!!

Maprik, I was even sadder than that.... I rewatched the Man Woman Wild episode with the Team Gemini in it over and over when I was waiting for it to come!! :p

I've been watching re-runs of The Walking Dead (specifically eps that prominently feature Daryl Dixon and his Team Gemini) to help tide me over till my TGLB arrives.
