Empire Canvas Works Wool Blanket Sweater- Backpacker.com Review

Good stuff ! I've been meaning to put in some time to make one(or two) but have yet to do so.. Guess this summer's no better time...lol
 
very cool. i have been looking for a good wool set up and this might just be it. thanks for the review as always
 
How are the sizes? Generous or should a person get a size larger to accommodate shrinkage and extra layers under?

I made a similar piece from an italian military blanket. Though the one I made is a bit longer and has a hood.
 
I got a pull-over from www.gfredasbell.com this past Christmas. Awesome piece of kit. Wore it all through the rest of Winter. Very easy to layer under, and kept me very warm.
 
Mine was a little generous but not by much, what you would expect for a wool jacket or so. No shrinkage, they are washed twice in hot water or "fulled". Wash in cold water, air dry
