• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

In the eight day period from August 24 to September 1 I acquired four nice older knives.

ebony Landers, Fray & Clark jack
brown bone Utica EO swell end jack
black composite Imperial jack
stgalon delrin Remington R1178 trapper

With a 1991 date, the Remington is the youngster of the bunch, by 30-40 years.

Wow! Quite a nice bumper crop, Doug.

Those are great looking knives. But for me the Remington tops them all. Congratulations on the acquisitions.

Thanks for the kind words. The Remington is on the way to New Zealand today in a trade, but the others are likely staying right here. The bone on the Utica is just amazing, and as Nate mentioned, the ebony grain is very nice. All three of the ones remaining feel good in my hand, so I am pleased with these finds.
