Nice, been awhile since I happened to be first on a DOD, kind of nice cept I got all these, although there's a couple where a spare might be nice. Like to have 2 of each Thamar, one for use and other to drool on followed of course by good cleaning and oil.

That mini waj is a little demon. I have one lashed to a baldrick, and it's ridiculously lightweight for how long and slashy it is. Very capable tanto.

EMS sent:
18 inch 29 ounce M-43 by Bhakta. Satisal wood handle. $100 even

This is the first time I've had the cash to try for one. I've been lurking on here for a long time. My fingers are crossed.

I will post more great deals right now, stay tuned

15 inch 24 ounce Chiruwa Ang Khola by Bhakta. Satisal wood handle. Great work by Bhaka. $85 *SOLD*.

EMS for 15 inch 24 ounce Chiruwa Ang Khola by Bhakta. Satisal wood handle. Got the Done Deal. :)

From time to time people ask about lighter weight M43s and CAKs. Mostly the 18" versions weigh anywhere from 28 oz to 32 oz or more. The best way to get a lighter weight version is to go for one of the 15" models. At least that works for the CAKs and AKs. I'm not sure the kamis make the M43 in a 15" version. They should.

By the way: In the top picture above, I think two of the knives are reversed. The text says that the third knife (left to right) is a Yek Chirra, and the fourth knife is an M43. Judging by the handles and other features of the knives, I think the third knife is the M43 and the fourth is the Yek Chirra. The pics are a little blurry, but the handle types are pretty definite.

David I believe you’re right!
I hope Texanmonk wasn’t looking at the wrong knife when he did an EMS on M43.

You know, I had noticed that the handle on what was listed as the M43 wasn't the same as the few others that I had seen, although I liked it and the blade shape very much... And I noticed that what was listed as the Yek Chirra's handle didn't seem to have the "ring." I was so excited to see an M43 for that price that I wasn't thinking through those details very well at the time. I am sure that the quality and function of the knife will be all that I have heard of. I sure did like the look of that Yek Chirra, though! Thanks for pointing out the difference, David. I'm still learning a lot.

Email Yangdu. If you asked for the wrong one and she hasn't sold the other one she might be able to exchange.
