wow. I never win anything.

can I do a speech like actors when they win awards....and push personal politics and rear end smooching in also? kidding i have more class and respect for y'all than they do.....

i'd like to pass my winning to the next in line or a redo, whatever is the fairest way. im sure ill kick myself for passing the win on, when i see the knife made for this, but I'd rather someone else enjoy it even more than I would. thank you David.

Well I would like to say CONGRATS to the Generous Monkey (or the Fortunate Recipient of the Generous Monkey)! 😃

Also big, huge THANK YOU to the Very, Generous, Very Gracious David for organizing a thoughtful, interesting (and yes, absurdly impartial giveaway! 🤩. Very cool!!!

Congratulations to the winner!!! 🏆

Now, here’s an A.I. generated picture of a “Generous Monkey” giving a knife away away☺️:

I think you aught to see it first! ;)

Congratulations jbmonkey jbmonkey on winning the contest, and your amazing good will in wanting to pass it along!! And thank you so much David Mary David Mary for the generous opportunity and fun give away!!

Rather than having the multi-step raffle again that involves a Mod, what about this idea:

We could try to organize a pass-around so that everybody that participated gets a month to use and write about the knife then pass it along (as a requirement), and at the end we could make contributions to David Mary David Mary and/or a charity of his choosing, and whoever contributes most gets the knife (I never really liked those charity auctions where only one person makes the donation at the end... it makes more sense to me that each person commit to what they're willing to donate. Maybe make it blind so it's more fun that nobody knows who won and what the top contribution is, submitting the contribution receipt as a ticket to David, and have a big reveal at the end on the winner and the total contribution?)

(Probably need to have some clauses on willingness to pay shipping to pass to another person, and what to do in case someone couldn't pass it along in time etc. 🤔)

It could be fun furthering along the complexities of this contest 🤣 and everybody gets a chance to use it and contribute for it. Anybody in?

Z zaedion your idea is interesting, and worthy of consideration for a future contest. More likely I would just do a pass around instead.

i'd like to pass my winning to the next in line

It is your right, and thus the knife goes to numerically randomized contestant number 3: norcalAF norcalAF . Congratulations!

We've waited this long. I think we can let the winner have the pleasure of sharing the first public pics. I have to keep moving if I want to make it to the drop off before they close tonight anyway.

Well fellow DM fanatics, I asked David to keep the knife a secret from me as well. Today a typical DM fabricated box landed. Imagine my surprise when this beauty tumbled out of the packing!
