This was a user for me since I bought it in mid December 2021. Immediately after opening it, I made the following modifications:
Regrind thinner behind the edge.
Radiused spine and softened the hard corner on the thumb ramp.
Installed detent ramp.
Etched my maker's regrind mark.
The knife weighs 4.2 oz (it is 4.4 from the factory), and has a slightly less blade heavy balance to it than the factory knife. I used this one a lot, including for cutting up old worn ceramic belts. I scratched this blade up something fierce, and chipped and rolled the edge many times, but before selling it, today I have ground off most of the scratches (the third pic shows what is left of them - I did not want to grind away too much material). I also resharpened it by hand to 15° per side on 400 and 800 grit diamond plates, and added a 20° microbevel on the Spyderco SharpMaker, then stropped with green compound on a slack leather strop. The blade is now extremely thin behind the edge, starting at .005", increasing to .016" at the tip (factory knife is about .020" bte heel to tip)
Price is expired, meaning you are getting my regrind work for free, and a user knife that is in very good condition with the exception of the scratches I show (which I would say are purely cosmetic and inconsequential if the knife is actually going to be used), payable via itemized PayPal invoice, which I will send to your email address. Includes tracked and insured expedited North America shipping. I will ship internationally at buyer's expense. First "I'll take it" with comms gets priority. My email address is in my sig if you turn your phone sideways. Combined shipping saves $15 per extra item.
Thanks for looking!
