Good afternoon friends, today I am offering this spear point knife. It is near zero ground with distal and profile taper for good cutting geometry despite being from quarter inch stock. It is much lighter than one would expect from such a knife due to the tang being hollow from pin hole to pin hole, a design choice that I have found to be more than strong enough on knives even with stock thickness a quarter of this one (I wear a neck knife I made like this in .06" 15N20, and I have used it every day, multiple times a day for months now). It's also got some file work on the tang for additional weight reduction and a little flash. The only non-traditional element is the sheath, but even here I selected one that has a similar look to leather for at least a traditional look.

This one's meant to work and it'll work hard, and be easy to sharpen due to the heat treatment selection of 61 RC, the optimal balance of toughness and wear resistance for this steel, according to the findings of Dr. Larrin Thomas (see his post on 15N20 toughness).

Specs
Steel: .25" 15N20, 61 RC

Geometry: Full flat vex to near zero, .012" behind the edge, up to .016" at the tip.

Overall Length: 7 3/4"
Cutting Edge Length: 3 3/4"

Weight: 3.5 oz., 4.4 oz. with sheath

Handle: Zebrawood scales, freehand textured for excellent grip, but not too aggressive for good ergos, purple heart liners, brass tubes.

Sheath: Tan raptor skin Holstex taco sheath included

Holstex is a thermoplastic like Kydex, but with an artistic design molded into the outer surface. It has the same durability and resistance to the elements as Kydex.

Price is expired, payable via itemized PayPal invoice, which I will send to your specified email address. Includes tracked and insured expedited North America shipping. I will ship internationally at buyer's expense and liability. First "I'll take it" with comms by PM or email (ie send me the email address you want the invoice sent to) gets priority. My email address is in my sig if you turn your phone sideways.

Thanks for looking!
