Just got my first Spyderco, the Endura 4 Wave. Its razor sharp, light, balanced, and the wave feature is really addicting. I was worried that I would have some lateral play, but there is no visible play at all. It locks up solid. Now if only they made a waved model with G-10 handles...
 
I don't think that Emerson would OK a model that competed so directly with their mostly G10 knives. If you want a cheaper waved model their are the spydies and for a more expensive G10 handled knife with better steel their are the Emersons.
I love my Commander waved ,it was sharper out of the box than even my spydies or Lambert custom.
