I'm about to get one ..... who has one , how do you like it ? I'm getting the half serrated blade .;)

Im in your same boat:) !!!! Kinda wondering the same thing myself. Im also looking into the benchmade 530, under 2oz is hard to belive. Im debating between an endura and delica both waved. Blade length is not an issue. Anyone have any pros of the delica compared to the endura??

My first knife other than the Leatherman Charge Ti I carry everyday was the Delica Wave. It was my first Spyderco and I have added two more Spydies since. I personally dont even look at other brands. I dont think you can beat Spyderco quality for the money.

I have never handled the Endura but I Ive never needed a bigger blade than the Delica. I love the Wave. Its really nice to pull a folder out of your pocket and have it opened already, especially if you are holding something in your offhand.

I know you would be happy with either one but the Delica Wave is a great knife.

i really love the d4. its such a nice blade. i have 4 of them now. the waved version is nice as well. they are large knives.

i say get a few of them with different blade types. the fully serrated version is pretty wicked.

I have an endura 4 wave and my friend has an endura 4. the only difference is the wave and a slight difference in the shape of the blade-purely personal prefrence. i LOVE this knife. comes wicked sharp, feels nice in the hand, although may be a little to big for those with smaller hands (go with the delica instead)

I'm 6'2 and 255 lbs I dont think it will be to small ! Thanks for the info guys .

One consideration is legal. There are many places where it simply isn't legal to carry a knife with a 4" blade. For those places, there is the Delica. The smaller size of the Delica also makes it less panic-inducing when used around non-knife people. I find a shorter blade more useful for fine work as well.

Luckily, 4" blades are legal here, so my BRG E4 & D4 ride together in the leg pocket of my carpenter jeans, and the task at hand determines which comes out :D

Yablanowitz makes an excellent point. I love Delica's because I CAN carry them here in Mass. If I need something bigger I just pack one of my various fixed blades when going camping or hiking.

It's okay to carry an endura in texas ! You can carry a knife that's alittle over 5 inches . I was looking real good I'll just get the DELICA 4 !!!

THANKS GUYS for ALL the HELP !!!

The E4 just happens to be my EDC this week. I love it, just a plain Jane vg-10 black combo edge. A heck of a knife to have when you need one. I hope Spyderco never stops making them.

Im in texas also cml. If you wanted to you could edc a endura. I think im gonna get the delica, though. I think its a fine blade size for edc.

Am I missing something as the Endura blade is under 4" according to their web site?
