Spyderco Endura 4s are discounted heavily now to make room for new models and stock.
So my question to you all is that at these bargain basement prices would you rather get the Spyderco Endura Green G-10 Handle 3-3/4" VG10 Blade
Part Number: SP10GPFG
Retail Price:$199.95
You Pay: $69.95 & You Save: $130.00 (65%)
OR
Spyderco Endura4 Folding Knife 3-3/4" ZDP-189 Blade, Green FRN Handles
Part Number: SP10SGRE
Retail Price:$144.95
You Pay: $59.95 & You Save: $85.00 (59%)
(And no, I'm NOT price-spotting because I'm not referring to who the sellers are...)

So what is the deal with these RIDICULOUSLY inexpensive Endura 4 G10 prices???
I mean it seems they are just giving these beauties away.
Are these now discontinued? Are they overstock? Defective? Blemishes?
Can someone please tell me why we are so blessed right now with less than $70 G10 Enduras?
Is there a catch? As we all know when something seems to good to be true, it probably is...
Hi Autoopen,
Jill is correct. We just have to reduce inventory to get ready for new models. The best way to do that is to lower the price. It often means a loss of profit as well but the customer does get a great deal.
The G-10 is a fine knife, custom quality and a real performer. (USA made G-10). Sales on a model like this are often slow due to the high price. Making models like this in Seki is tough because of the strong Yen and high prices due to high quality. Unfortunately, many cannot afford them, especially in this economy. It is also unfortunate that once we sell a model at such a low price, we end up disco'ing the model.
Nice pic Jill.
