I can't believe the fit and finish of the new foliage green FFG endura.I just picked one up today.I heard allot of people talk about the price that it is to close to the military so just get a militay.But I have to say it's a whole new breed from the other endura's the fit and finish and blade profile are much different, the steel liners seem thicker handle is way more stout and rigid A top quality peice it feels much more expensive then it is.The pics don't do any justice for it you must handle one to understand.:thumbup:Good job as usual
sal and crew!!!:eek::D

Another member stated its like a different knife from the Endura IV and I agree, I got one about 3 days ago and for now it is a safe King!

Congrats on that FFG E4!

Haven't got the Endura yet, but I do have the Delica. I believe that this "evolution" of D4 and E4 are some of the best knives Spyderco has ever made, IMHO.

They are a big price jump from the FRN, but they have to be handled to be fully appreciated. If a person is a Delica or Endura junkie, they owe it to themselves to try these knives out, they are truly great, and that's not just the Spyderco fan-boy in me talking either!

Thanx Gine,

This was a design prompted by forumites.

It is a very nice piece. The Foliage green G-10 scales are USA made and shipped to Seki. The full flat VG-10 blade is a cutter. A limited production very high quality version of our standard E4 & D4.

Hey RickJ, a safe queen :eek:

This model begs to "live" in the wild. ;)

Mr Glesser, you are right my CF BG-42 Military is the safe King, the G10 Endura can be the Queen.

I love the handle, but the blade is a bit too thin for me. I'm not sure that I understand the logic behind making a knife with such a strong reinforced handle and such a delicate blade.

Now, my idea of the perfect Endura: G-10 handle with ZDP-189 blade with flat saber grind. That would be the ultimate EDC for me.
