Endura jimping difference

Hi all,
Just got a new PE Endura4 and the thumb jimping is noticeably less sharp and less deep than my CE E4, which is only a couple weeks older. I ordered them both from the same online store. Did they change the jimping between models for some reason, or is this just a manufacturing variance? Any thoughts?

My initial thought is that Spyderco refines it's knives "on the fly" for lack of a better phrase. Something like jimping might be easier to "refine" than other features. Though I'm sure someone else will come along to give you a better reason.

CNC machining depends on the software (program) initiated. Subtle changes can be made by simply changing the numerical program. Could be they did just that. Not to worry, if it works....use it...it's a Spydie!
