Endura Question...

I know that the earlier Endura had a plastic clip, and that the new one has the reversible metal clip. Wasn't there one that was between these two models? If so, what was it's number?

Not the metal handles, I'm referring to the Zytel handles. Wasn't there an in-between version with a less "squared-off" handle?

hi Lureman. The first mold for the
Endura ran from 1990 to 1998. The handle remained the same although we made six changes to the clip over the 8 year period.

In 1998, we made the 2nd mold. To date, there have been 2 refinements to the design. (Strengthening clip well and strengthening tip on serrated version). No changes to the rear of the model in between.

I' ve often made this inquiry if a seller had either the Endura or Delica FRN with integral clip 4 sale. To be a bit more specific, the beefier non tapering integral clip came after the somewhat flimsy tapering style. The reversible steels followed. Hope this helps.
