endura tip broke, how to fix

My older Spyderco Endura tip broke while I was chopping and prying some tree fallen wood. The broken tip is about only 1 or 2 mm. I have no sharpening skills but I do have one of those long metal sharpeners for my kitchen knife set.

I sent a Delica in under warranty and got it back better than ever, along with a note respectfully requesting that I treat their knives with better respect.

Spydy's customer service has a great reputation. I would box it up and send it in with a respectfully hand written note and not think another thing about it. When it comes back good as new, it will be like getting a new knife again..
