Is it a full-length of partial steel liner on the non-locking side?
I'm guessing that it's also nested, right?

It isn't quite full length; it goes to the last torx screw in the G-10. Otherwise you are spot on

It is just like on the BG-42 Millie. And makes the knife feel slighty stiffer. It also adds a few grams of weight, but it is still very light knife for the size.
