Endura vs native vs blur working mans knife

I used to collect all new Blurs, and new model/generation Enduras.

They are both great knives and it should be just a matter of which you like the feeling of best. If you look around you can find Blurs in 440A, 13C26, 14C, S30V, CPM 154 ( yes, the powder version), SG2, 440V/S60, and possibly ZDP? I'm not sure about that, but I think I recall it.

The Endura current generation is VG10, or ZDP 189. Saber, or full flat. PE, CE, or SE. Metal body, FRN, and there was a G10 model which pops up on the boards now and again.

Spyderhole, or assisted opening.

Either way it's a can't miss. Spyderco has good W&R. Kershaw has probably the best in the business.

I have a bunch of each. I'm not sure I could just pick one. :)

I would say go with the Endura. I have several VG10s and a ZDP. The ZDP makes an awesome work knife. I would pick an endura over a blur because of the blur's recurve. Recurve blades are great but I think they are a little harder to sharpen than the straight edged endura.

Having owned all three and used them as work knives the blur is the way to go. I used mine to cut through a tab of 1/8 PolyE dock, the edges are definitely not too thin. The native is the most delicate of the three you posted, the Endura is good too but the recurve on the blur really makes strap cutting easier and isn't such a steep recurve that its hard to sharpen.

One downside is that the pocket clip is too tight for canvas pants pockets without being rebent a bit, all the blurs I've handled have been like that but its a simple thing to rebend them.

Doh! I think the OP already got a Spydie, good choice!
