I'm feeling indecisive between these two knives.

I like the light weight and rust free attributes of the Salt.

The ergos felt better on the E4 (Surprised me, I used to prefer the E3 handle), I like the clip better and the green is cool.

I'm happy with ZDP and know what to expect from it. H1 I've never used. After it's been sharpened and work hardened like I've read about, does anyone know how it compares with ZDP?

The knife will be a hard use knife used in various kinds of weather for a variety of things, including regular EDC type of cutting and food prep.

Both are 70$ at a local store.

I'm considering either one or the Ultra Fine benchstone. Wondering how much better of an edge the UF stone will put on my knives compared to my fine DMT stone. Would like to hear from others regarding the stones as well.

$70 is a sweet deal for a ZDP Endura, but a little high for a Pacific Salt; if that helps you to decide.

Went with the Endura. I don't think the corrosion resistance is all that important for me, especially with summer coming to a close. Plus I love ZDP189. Now I just need to reprofile that saber grind into something thinner :D

Good choice

I love Spyderco's UF stones. They will whittle hair very easy with out stropping. I can get long thin curls of my kids hair now that I have played with my 306UF for a few weeks.

A quick 306UF review  A DMT fine, is still very course next to the Spyderco UF. I think you will be very happy with it.
