I've got three knives up for sale here. Two are patterns I just wanted to try out and refurbish, if necessary. The Sheffield was in pretty decent shape and just needed a good edge and some oiling. The Douris Chastel needed to be cleaned up a bit, reprofiled slightly (to get thinner behind the edge), and oiled. The last one is an 01 Bull Nose that I picked up used and modified myself (I think it was the second one I ever did). It has a thinned blade and thinned handles. It is a sweet knife, but I'm on the hunt for something I know I'll like better and instead of kicking this one into the pouch, I'd prefer it go to someone who will make better use of it. I'm selling these individually, but if you like them all and would like the lot, I'll sell them at $175 as a group.
1. Joseph Rodgers Sheffield wood handled swayback jack (England!). I think the wood is rosewood, but it is hard to tell. Handle is about 4.25" and the blade is about 3.5" (about 2.75" of edge) in an unknown steel (probably carbon). Nice, thick scales for a secure feel in hand. Good action on a cam tang. It is a pinless construction, so the slabs are being held by some sort of glue or epoxy. A really nice user.$35SOLD Paypal G&S.

2. Douris Chastel "Le Pionnier" with can opener and cork screw (France!). I think the wood is ebony, but I also am unsure on this one. The handles is 4" and the blade is 3" and the action on all of the tools is quite nice (all cam tang). Steel is reliable 12c27.$40SOLD Paypal G&S.

3. Great Eastern Cutlery #71 Bullnose in natural micarta, modified by me (USA!). It was a user when I bought it and I've used it for my normal light cutting tasks. It has a good patina right now, which I can remove if you prefer.$115SOLD Paypal G&S.
