Thanks to work I had to spend a little over a week in England, got home at 0500hrs yesterday morning and am still feeling a little wasted. As it was indeed a work trip I had precious few hours to get out and see the sights, but I managed a little. Some pics of a bit of the tourist stuff and a trip in the countryside will follow. I thought it best to start on the right note however ;);)

My well travelled Skeleton Key got another stamp in its Passport....

I will set to editing up a few more when my eyes are less blurry.

Awesome! I know it was for business, but I wish I had the resources to travel more. Can't wait to see the rest of the pics!

Pretty nice perk to travel for work - even if it is work. Never been to England but it's on the list. Hope you enjoyed your trip!

Sunshine you lucky bugger!:p Where in blighty are you?

Travel safe.:)

Subscribed. Went to England almost 20 yrs. ago now. At about this time of year. Beautiful place this time of year. And at least back then, the people out in the country were as nice a people as you could ever hope to meet. In London as well, but they were more citified, of course.

Looking forward to seeing more of your photos, and I hope you had a good time while you were here :)
Plus that's a good lookin skeleton key you have too

As it was a working trip I really only had a couple of days and evenings to myself to see anything other than the inside of buildings. I did manage to get invited to visit a country estate for a day and it was just beautiful...

Took myself off for a walk that took in the areas well away from the home...

And of course found some of the local game (not great pics as they are all snapped offhand and zoomed) ...

..... my hosts were all hunters (bird and deer) as well, had it been in season I would have been invited to hunt the Fallow and Roe Deer that prevail here.

Back to London...

Still some more editing to do yet ... :D

Brings back fond memories. I did a two year working holiday there when I was in my 20's. Best two years of my life,..... Met my wife, got my first tattoo, travelled around Europe with London as a base and got some great work experience.

If it is still possible to do that when my kids come of age I'll be encouraging them to do the same.

Cheers Andy...You lucky bugger!

Fantastic pictures Andy!

I can't help myself, I have to ask, did you have to ride in a Rover while you were there?

Great pics. I was born in London and got to take my wife there back in 2001. Still have family over in the Olde Dart but no idea if/when we'll get back over there. Kids keep pestering me about it. :)

Thanks all... :) Still some more pics to come once the fog clears from my head, still trying to get into a sleep pattern....

I can't help myself, I have to ask, did you have to ride in a Rover while you were there?
.... hell no !!!! Lexus, Benz, Audi but no bloody Landys for me.... ;)

Beautiful estate!!!!..... Didn't think that you could see such a large group of deer in England. Learn something everyday.

I love London. Spent a few days there, back in 2002..... Great pics:thumbup:

Thanks Andy!

Ah you were in my home town I see! Let me know when you're around my neck of the woods next time. Let's go grab a pint! :)
