English knife woes

Well, and I am thinking a lot about the blue bump I'll be picking up this weekend.

I had a Ti Blue Bump delivered today. It is a well crafted knife, pretty glitzy too. Kershaw Speed Assist is amazing.

Anyway, back to Oxford. It is the ultimate worldwide place of education to put on your resume' in the UK, a bit like putting 'Yale' or 'Harvard' on your resume' in the US.

And no, no cheerleaders, just pretty, adoring girls on the sidelines.

1- pubs
2- fish and chips
3- fried Mars bars
4- page 3 girls
5- hot chicks

...not necessarily in that order.

Its not that bad in England,i live not far from Oxford you can visit and fondle my knife collection and do some knife throwing in the garden. There are Military fairs you could go to and not far away in London you can visit Blunder Buss antique shop which has a good selection of Bowies. There are also in Sheffield manufacturers of good quality knives to have alook at and maybe send some home.

I know you've said that you're not questioning going but here's one last thought anyway.

"I do not regret the things I've done, but those I did not do."

So, where's the update?
Any news about which college, what luck with the scholarships, problems with being accepted....?
I guess knife laws have come not to seem such a downer...
honestly, I couldn't really pity AM on having such problems as what to do with his car racing and knife collecting when going to a place where there's lots of other priorities and possibilities
(unless he's the GeorgieBoy type of student, whom they wouldn't take :) )
best,
t.

I'm not sure what a georgie boy is?

No news yet. Their offices of admission are useless. I'm extraordinarily busy until next Thursday, and I'm not relishing having to stay up to 2-3 in the morning to call them and arrange something.

I went ahead and sent Cambridge some mail as my backup school. Again, useless.

Clocks are ticking somewhat differently on either side of the Big Water.
Your TCU should be able to serve with contacts. There's also summer courses worth checking out, quite respectable, though pricey. I don't know about your field, though.
Good luck with Cambridge, in general considered better in the natural sciences, Oxford more in the Humanities.

Btw., I didn't allude to A but THE George Sonnyboy B.... since Fulbright scholar Clinton had already been mentioned disparagingly in passing :)
