Will it fit on the scanner????

Sort of...

I'd love to see it. Preston

OK! For you! ;) Took a bit of fiddling...but here it is...

But it's not my favorite...Ever since "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" I've wanted one of Tuco's sixguns...and a company out near you is finally importing them...Here's a repro Colt 1872-3 Opentop in .38 Special... :D

I will do that after my current experiment of the penny in a glass of coca cola.

Uh...Isn't that supposed to be a jar of women's moisturizing cream that restores penny luster (and Andie McDowell, too)???

Trax, they're 158gr SWC for my S & W Mod 37-2, J frame .38 Spc +P...my first. If you want to see pic I posted in the Gallery, under thread called Guns and Knives(or versa/vice), which is where the idea came from. I like blued revos. My next one will be .357 3-4", but will shoot mainly .38s in her. Preston
158gr +P ammunition was department standard on SDPD back in the 70's after they found a standard 38 round would bounce of a car's windshield. I used to carry them in my Colt Python 357 all the time. (or at least until I could re-load with 357 semi-jacketed wad cutters.)

Trax, Thanks for your trouble:), neat wheelies, that open top could grow on me., I like that movie also, when ever its on I watch it. Is that the one where Tuco is in the store picking out a gun and spins the cylinders and listens to the actions??? I want to do that when I go to a gun shop:eek:. Preston

And then shoots the storekeeper (you might have to rent the directors cut edition to get all the shootings!)

Strangely enough, the listening is true...I had a brand new Ruger .44 mag Super Blackhawk, and a brand new .454 Casull...you could listen to the Ruger, and think "Pretty good!"...and then listen to the Casull and *know* the Ruger was junk!!! :D

That's the one!

Is the 454 made by Freedom Arms? Rugers may not be the top drawer but are sturdy and dependable(tuff and rugged). Alot like the Bucks that we talk about:D. Preston

When you cock a Casull, there is no scratchiness, no grinding, no sliding noises...just sharp clicks...the tolerances are so fine, that after six shots I had to wipe the burnt powder off the front of the cylinder or it would start to bind...that is one tight puppy...

And if you hand the storekeeper a $1000 bill, he'll say "plus tax"...

I couldn't shoot the pre-loaded ammo...it hurt my wrist...(this, from someone who shot a .44 Automag)...

Guys used to hang out the doors & windows of the Sportsman's Club to watch me shoot these things...they said they threw up a three-foot fireball...

Anyone wonder why they're called hand cannons only has to look at that pic. WOW. Preston

Preston,
Nice score with the engraved 110, a lot of time spent in engraving.
You asked:

Freedom makes one,so does Ruger

I'll run .45 Colts through at the range, and usually 10 rounds of .454. My Ruger 454. Casull, tricked by Mr.Sandy Garrett(Northern Va. Gun Works),trigger shaved & pull reduced, action worked, and vented @Magna-port. Manageable now, after porting.

Scott, nice gun, well tuned, but still a handful I would bet with that shorter barrel...which I like...better proportioned. Preston
