Engraved CRK's--Post Your Pics Here!

I just stubbled onto this thread, and this is news to me! I have been a fan of CRK knives for years and never thought to ask about engraving. Now I have a great anniversary gift idea.....

I don't regret getting mine, I originally assumed that if you wanted one engraved you had to order it like that. I saw that you can send it in a bit after I got mine, and started trying to figure out if there was something I wanted engraved. I am very happy with the service, took a little bit to get it back, but I was expecting that.

I don't want to start a new thread, so I will put my picture here, I just got my sebenza back from CRK, I got it repaired (broke pocket clip screw) and engraved, here is the engraving

I didn't feel like getting my camera out, so this is just a cellphone picture

CE--what is the meaning of the phrase?

CrazyEngineer, I really like that engraving job. I think I'd like mine to say "luck favors the prepared".

So if I'm reading this right... did CRK do the engraving themselves when you sent it in?

BTW, regarding CRK warranty on engraved knives, I spoke to Angela (i think that was her name) at CRK yesterday about this very issue and she confirmed that engraving will NOT void the warranty. I recently purchased a custom with some beautiful engraving by Nathan Dickerson (posted pics on another thread). After seeing this post I contacted him to see if could do a small Sebe for me. Thanks to this forum and posters here for a great idea I had never thought about.

Thank you.

A greeting.

Im graduating from college (for the 2nd time) at age 48. Thought about ordering a new 25 and having the date engraved. Beats the crap out of a class ring...lol

Here's mine, thanks franzdom and d.r.h. for the comments:

It has been engraved by Tim George.
Originally sold by Only Fine Knives...Here is their stock photo of it:

Lisa,
I am sorry to do this but your lies have gone on long enough!

This knife was not made by Chris Reeve and engraved by Tim George!

It was forged in the volcanic fires on the planet "Kick-Ass", then quenched with Siren's tears, before being transported to this world by intergalactic warrior poets!
How you wrestled it away from the cyclops of middle earth is a story for another time though.

I'm sorry to let your secret out, can we still be friends?

...............

Sweet blade though, I think I found the engraver I'm going to use for my CQB Elite 1911.
