burl wood handle.

tamahagane steel

hand ground to the edge with japanese water stones.

spine thickness about 5mm edge 0.0mm

about 12" long

differentially hand heat treated

I like the engravings, very nice. I can't see it in the photo, but is the hammon line visible at all under the right light?

yes you can see the hamon on the blade easy when you have it in hand. but to take a photo of it is like pulling chicken teeth.
