Engraved Fighter

I'm certainly happy that my scratching is well received, thank you guys. I'd be happy to talk to anyone interested in doing a project --- give me a call at the number below & we can discuss your ideas. I'm in the shop seven days a week, 10-12-14 hours a day.

Ken, with your schedule you sound like a full time knifemaker! Be nice if you had a web site so we can see more of your work. As busy as good engravers seem to be these days some of us are always looking for more of you guys.

Greg, when you gray the scrolls, you might apply a mask to the rest of the piece so you don't accidentally hit the bluing with your acid. Nothing like getting to that last panel, twitching, and having to re-blue it. You can imagine how I know!

I'm looking forward to seeing the finished knife!

although I think that knife would be sweeter if the point was dropped a bit and there was a little less belly and a little more pointy, it gives me chills looking at it.
The proportions look bang on and the shape and materials of that handle get the wood up:D The 'scratching' is totally complementary to that phenomenal ivory:thumbup: I'm feeling nervous about the bluing though:o
One of the most balanced and beautiful knives I've seen in a while.

I have to say that this is one of the best looking knives I have ever seen. Everything about this knife looks great. Wouldn't be surprised to see this on the cover of a magazine in the near future. Congrats on the excellent knife.

Gentlemen,

Thanks very much for the comments, they are appreciated more than you know.

Greg
