Engraved Mnandi's

As well it should be...that is beautiful!

Just out of curiousity how does engraving the handle void the warranty. What effect does it do to a blades performance that voids it.

I heard from another forum member that CRK will not touch an engraved Mnandi....for anything.

Thanks B!

It really is quite spectacular!
Congrats on owning that beauty :)

I don't blame them. As soon as mods are done to the knife, really, it is not really theirs anymore. From a business perspective, they could be liable for damage to a "one of a kind" knife. That could be really really costly.
I'm sure it's not that they can't appreciate the beauty..they can't afford to warranty work that is not theirs.

Tyvm for the info. Wonder if electro anodizing voids it as well?

It's possible to void the warranty by electro anodizing. The explanation above has a little to do with it. It's a case-by-case basis.
Heat anodizing is definitely no beuno.

Yup figured with heat especially since it can affect the heat treat they do on lock face.

Now a slightly diff question, for a wilson combat edition if i wanted to polish the flats would that void it?

Sorry for going off topic on the thread.

Again,..It's a case-by-case basis on the mods and polishing the flats falls into that category.
