This is one of the rare cases when I forged a whole ingot into one blade. The steel is crucible carbon steel(Crazy Dmitry Steel). It has some figure and natural yellowish color( not a heat color). Some "blemishes" on the blade are the hammer marks and traces of natural wrincling. I forged this blade very close to the final shape.
The blade is just a tad shorter than 9" with 8" edge. It is 1\4" at thickest and 1-1\4" at widest. Flat bevels. Hand finished to 800 grit.

The guard and the butt nut are mild steel. Hand engraved with deep relief design; blued and aged. The tang goes all the way through the handle and the butt nut has a lanyard loop embelished with the carved leaf.
The handle is Black Walnut.
The sheath is hand stitched from 9OZ leather; dyed and hand tooled with the same motiff as the guard.
This is a sole authorship knife, One-Of-A-Kind as usual.

I ask $950 for it shipped CONUS via Insured USPS Mail.
PayPal preferred but I will accept MO and a Personal Check(will ship after the check is cleared).

How do you continue to impress when I've watched you for so long?! Eventually you'd think I'd start being prepared!

Knocked it out of the park, Dmitry--I never tire of seeing what you come up with.

Beautiful work as always my friend..... :)

I have a wonderful piece made out of this steel and it's the sharpest knife I have ever used.....sharper than razor sharp.
