engraving

I'd think most any jeweler who does engraving would do it for you.
That would be a mechanical engraving (might call it 'diamond drag')
Also, if you're near anyone with a laser engraver, they can put a
ceramic type 'marker' on it and run the laser over that. The ceramic
get heated by the beam and it bonds to the metal. That's how I do
them when someone wants a knife marked. The advantage there is
that you can put whatever you want on it. I'll often 'engrave' someone's
signature or photo.
