Engraving

Not sure where this goes, This is my first one to post. I have been engraving on guns and knives around the house. They don't look bad but I want to improve. I did all my engraving with a power tool. Is this what most people use. When I do my scroll work how do you put the color in the back ground. Don't mean to ask all the questions but if I knew the answer's I would help someone too. A photo would help. I'm not sure why the info in your User CP is there, either?
What are you using, a Power Graver, Graver Max, Graver Mate, ???
What do you want to fill the engraving with? Gold,enamel,antique?

Not sure what the CP is look Guys I don't know much about the Computer World. I'm just an old Country Boy. Yall bare with me I'll get it down for long. I have a Turbo carver. I just started carving gun stocks and working on knives of my own. I got brave and engraved on my old 22 pump. I'll post some pictures when I can. Thats why I posted on here to get some tips on engraving.What say you. Chuck
