Enhanced EDC

Yeah, it's got a 154CM blade and has a black pocket clip with other black accents. Check out the thread from a few days ago dealing with what's new from Camillus.
 
Thanks CAK, I missed that one. It does look like I will be adding that one to my small EDC colleciton.
 
Will, do you know if these will have a different product number than the current EDC's? Curious as if there is a way to distinguish when I order from my distributor.
 
It appears that the new enhanced EDC has new part numbers. 2201 is plain edged and 2211 is the partially serrated blade.


I too want to know who will be getting these in stock soon as I really NEED one. Also I would like to find out if there is a way to get one of the D2 ones that were made for AG.Russel.
 
I believe Will had said this is going to be a "running" change. Camillus has shipped some plain edge and the serrated edge will start shipping once the originals are gone.
 
That makes perfect business sense. If they cost the same why would anyone buy the 420HC version?

I hope the remaining 420HC versions sell quickly. I need one of the enhanced EDC's. :D
 
We have now begun shipping the new, enhanced EDC's. They carry a slightly different model number....

The plain edge is CU2201. The partially serrated is CU2211. As noted elsewhere, they carry the exact same price as the old 420HC model, $69.95 suggested retail, so I believe you can expect to pay them same price on the street as you saw on the old model.

Basically, we have started to use more and more 154cm in our product line, and we have gotten the cost down on the material. We can now offer our customers a betteer knife, at the same price.
