Ennis-Entrek Forester...

I'm confused here, the text is mentioning a flat grind but the pictures all show a scandi grind? I liked the BCNW design and that it had a full handle profile, I guess this variation will work for folks looking for a thinner handle. The steel choice will be an issue.
 
I think you are tripping on the flat grind as in “full flat”. For simplicity consider both of them as saber grinds but with one having a flat ground portion and the other having convex portion.
