I call this one the Eno because of the grain structure in the blade. When I etched it after hand rubbing it to 800 grit the grain looked like a shallow river with rocks in it near home, the Eno.

The blade is 7" long

Overall length 11 3/8"

Forged 5160

Differential heat treat

Cross draw sheath

This knife has passed parts one and two of the ABS Journeyman performance test twice. You can go to http://www.guineahogforge.blogspot.com for more pictures.

I will take $375 for it with USPS priority shipping to any where in the continental US.

Looks like a really nice setup.

Is it a hollow or flat grind and what's the spine thickness? Also, what's the handle? :)

Thanks for the interest.

Briggs; I grew up near the Eno. We live in the coastal plain now.

t1mpani; I forged it out of 1/4' X 1 1/4" stock. It is 3/16" at the ricasso with distal tapers. It is flat ground with a convex edge. The handle material is black linen micarta with a red spacer. I am hard on knives and like the toughness of the micarta.

The pictures are better at http://www.guineahogforge.blogspot.com

Scott, knife & sheath are a perfectly beautiful package, and I'm sure will perform just as perfectly as they look. Very nice.

Thanks again to all.

I grew up north of Raleigh in Franklinton. I was the demonstration blacksmith at the park on the Eno for a summer in 1981. Roy Underhill had gone to Williamsburg and it left the shop open.
