Kendo's hasty emotional response certainly won't win any friends. I will tell you a secret about him though:
He sold his Pen knife to me, to raise funds for Pen's brother.
I wrote a long post on that thread to help him out. I hope that we (me too) in this forum can forgive a man for acting like an @$$hole.
A story:
I watched WWE wrestling last monday night with a couple of friends. Two men came out; one holding my Country's (Canadian) flag, one with a British flag. Those two flags were then used to beat on their bearers, and were broken and trodden on in the process. God knows I was angry. Would the Stars and Stripes EVER get submitted to this kind of abuse for mere pro-wrestling entertainment? I think not ever in a million years. So why so carefree with ours? This was the height of arrogance and contempt to me.
If this asinine behaviour is excusable, then so are some of the stupid things Kendo said.
I find either hard to excuse, but will try to set both aside and forgive. It's really neat to see others here doing the same. Efforts were even made to see his point of view. The ripples caused when he threw that big rock in the pond are now waning, and serenity is already returning to the pond.
I read once that it is foolish to answer a man according to his folly. People are stupid, but answering stupidity with rage is stoopider.
