I'm pretty sure its rained everyday for a month... I've had enough already, this is 2013 can we control the weather by now??? come on people lets get with it!

So THAT's where all the rain went! Stupid Bermuda high pressure system always messin' up the gulf stream.

I will say that this is the first year in a long time that the farmers have said that the rain can stop at anytime. The fields to look really good around here. Should be a great year for the corn.

anti-rain dance ?

We have run at. 6"+ defecit for 5 years. Lakes are at historic lows We have been able to clean out 5 of our 7 since they were down so low.

That's what it's been like here in the NC mountains. Way to much rain. You wouldn't happen to live in the general area? :D

We need some rain here in North Texas or else we'll be drinking dirt.

That is crazy. Stay safe out there. I will have to call some of my family and make sure they are doing OK. They live about 50 miles from you.

We just had the equivalent of two month's worth of rain dumped on us in 2 hrs yesterday and expect more today/tomorrow. For reference, it was about 106mm. One of ourcommuter trains was almost flooded en route up to the 2nd level seating from the pics I saw.

Its been a wet cold summer, good for keeping forest fires down, but the biting flies are the worst they have been in years. The winds usually blow from the west, but since the snow melt we have been getting steady easteries which is unusual. Growing a garden is next to impossible unless using a greenhouse with the late frosts, and a lack of heat to make things grow.

It has rained just about every day for about a month but there are a lot of really happy farmers around here. The old "Knee high by the Fourth of July" corn hopes for farmers is a joke this year, just about every field around here has corn that is easily over six foot right now and farmers are grinning ear to ear. :D

The water has gone down, but the pavement pretty torn up in places. It's been nice and sunny since then.
