Bob, actually you come across as being prone to stirring it up. Why not take someone at their word until there is actual reason to cast doubt upon their veracity? You've been here, what, a year, (not even), and your throwing stones?

Some folks need to put the pitchforks down and lighten up.

It never hurts to extend the courtesy of waiting for the facts to come out before lynching someone because they reported having an issue...regardless of whether it is expressed in a manner to our liking or not. Frustrations occur with the best of makers and companies.

This would be in accordance with the culture that Sal and company try to promote here...and out of respect for them, I believe that is the right path.

Or we can start issuing warning points to those members who would rather pile on others, rather than stick to the facts under discussion. We try to avoid that if we can.

So help us out by keeping things civil.

So for anyone else who might find themselves in this spot just take a couple breaths and wait. Spyderco has a bunch of their staff on here and on their forum so you will get taken care of.

This post isn't to call out the OP, it's for the next person with a problem. And there definitely will be more people with problems.
