Entrek Knives, What do you Think?

I have a Javalina, bought it years ago. Haven't used it much, mostly because the sheaths back then were pretty shabby, but the pix I've seen of the current ones seem muchbetter. Mine now rides in a Blackhawk! sheath. If it matters to you, all Entrek knives are entirely made in America with American materials. Lots of 440C and black micarta. Hope this helps!

I have the Entrek companion that has been my edc for about three months. The knife is great.Would not hesitate to purchase another Entrek. My only gripe would be the kydex sheath.

I have been watching some reviews and they seem to be top notch! Especially the heat treat on that 440C steel. Does any one have the Bravo? I'm going to pull the trigger on it soon here.

I have the 11 Bravo and I really like it. It's like my little red riding hood knife. Not too big, not too small. Just right.

Entrek has to be one of the most underrated knives out there. I own several and they do not disappoint. The new pointman folder is well worth the money.

Can you tell us anymore about the folders? I was always interested in them but I was concerned with the pivot screw being too small.

I think shearing a pivot screw would be nearly impossible...

They're good knives, but I hate beadblast finishes (rust magnets). I sanded my Merc to a semi-satin finish.

Wow, that takes a good looking knife and turns it into a show stopper! great mod.

I've wanted a badger for a while, but don't have a use for it with my current line up. Never heard a bad review of the knives, just that the sheaths are a bit rough.

Yes but the pivot screw looks very small and it's on a liner lock knife with a 1/16" thick liner lock and the blade is almost 5" long and is 3/16" thick.

Heh. It's well worth the effort in my opinion. Looks better than the BB, scratches less easily, and is more rust resistant. One thing I should have done first though was sand against a flat surface. Freehanding with 120 grit at first caused me to dilute the plunge lines slightly.

why does Entrek put that snap button thing in the middle of the handle?.
