Hi there! :)

Because I like to collect some interesting knives and I have a few friends in UK so I'm also interested in carrying a knife in Britain and some other European countries. After short search I found the EnZo PK70 folder.

This beautifully designed knife is the product of Finnish company Brisa Ab OY which was founded in 1996 and specializes in trading with materials for knife making. Their EnZo brand is described as 'A Knife Of The Highest Quality", and yes, I can definitely confirm that the EnZo PK70 folder is one of the best made knives I've ever had.

The flat ground blade is perfectly centered with no blade play after opening. CPM-S30V - the powder metallurgical stainless steel has a pleasing satin finish. The blade has a large comfortable nail nick and the knife is opened with both hands. The brand logo and the kind of steel are engraved on the other side of the blade. The cutting edge is symmetrical on both sides. The steel is aggressive and it is my sharpest knife out of the box, so literally like a R A Z O R! :)

Individual parts of the knife, especially G10, steel liners and spring on the back of the handle, are matched so precisely that together they look like a one solid surface.

The slightly rounded handle made of G10 polished to a high gloss finish gives the illusion that the handle is more curved, than it actually is. The black polished G10 pattern is very elegant and it reminds me visually an impression of a carbon fibre combined together with micarta.

The PK70 knife is Slipjoint so it has no lock and thanks to that this knife is legal in many countries, especcially in United Kingdom and Germany. The blade opens and closes with some resistance in two steps which are needed in Slipjoint knives to secure from the knife accidentally closing on your fingers.

The clip is attached with two screws so if you need you can unclip it. Holes for these screws located in the clip are beveled so that they hide the screws entirely. At the end of the handle is the lanyard hole. The clip is also mounted at the end of the handle, so the knife after closing, with a length of 9.3 cm hides in a pocket entirely and does not take up much space.

EnZo PK70/F/Black G-10 specifications:
☞ Overall length: 16.2 cm
☞ Handle length: 9.3 cm
☞ Handle Material: polished G10
☞ Blade length: 7 cm
☞ Blade thickness: 2.5 mm
☞ Steel Blade: CPM S30V
☞ Weight: 80 g

Summing up all the Enzo PK70 parameters can be assumed that it is the unique knife on the market - the unusual polished G-10, the CPM-S30V steel, high quality finish, slipjoint legal in many countries with simple elegant design and robust construction. It all makes this knife is the very good choice for EDC tasks.

I just picked one up in Birch with scandi grind. I agree with you, these are great little knives. I took the clip off of mine and it carry's real nice without it. Mine too was razor sharp right out of the box. Absolutely love it.

Such a beautiful knife and amazing photos, my friend! I will pick up one of these one day! The grind lines on the blade make me happy! lol

The PK70 knife is Slipjoint so it has no lock and thanks to that this knife is legal in many countries, especcially in United Kingdom and Germany.
The knife laws in Germany are much more liberal than in the United Kingdom. No limitation of the blade length of a folder. Locking Folders are allowed. One hand opening is legal, but not in combination with a locking blade. It is legal to carry a fixed blade under 12 cm blade length.

Wow, those photos really do justice for the knife!
I really need to get Enzo folder one day.. but they need to work more attractive photos themselves. ;)

@xanopos Thanks for the info, but in Poland we have no any limitations of the blade length of a knife. It is legal to carry all fixed blades and locking folders even in combination with the one-hand opening system, however it is illegal to have things with a hidden blade if they don't look like a knife, for example a walking stick knife.

These things are restricted in Poland like a weapon and you must have special permission from the police. All other knives are legal in my country, so from my point of view the knife laws in UK and Germany are not so liberal.

Thank you all!

P.S. I'm sorry if my English is not perfect. :)

Basically the same as here in Austria.
For work in the office environment I prefer a small gentleman's knife. Thank for presenting such a knife.

Since you mentioned Germany. Almost everything is legal to possess. Except Autos and daggers sharpened on two side.
Carrying:
Locking blades are legal and one hand opening (including assisted) is also legal.
Just not the 2 combined in one blade.
Maximum blade length is 12 cm. Can even be sharp on the spine for less than 4cm.
Modding the Enzo with an aftermarket Thumstud would be great. :D

I have one in curly birch and scandi grind. It is a lovely knife and well made. I just wish the tang end of the blade was hidden when the blade is closed ,as you can see in one of the pictures above it sticks out.

Yes, it would be nice, but I have two slipjoint knives - one is EnZo PK70 and the second one is Laguiole Chevalerias 9 cm. Both of them have the similar sticking out the tang end of the blade. Is it possible that this is the permanent design feature of the slipjoint knives?

I'm in love with this knife.

Sent an email to Brisa, to see if they would offer a left handed version for us southpaws, no luck so far :(

Any chance of a pic of the end of the knife to show the contour of the scales?
Here you are :)

I know that there was a PK70 version with bolsters and without clip, but it is hard to find on the market.

On Brisa site I also found the PK70 Scandi Mechanism without scales, so you can make your own left handed version.

I have a Borka and I have to agree on the sharpness. That thing is so sharp it's actually scary. Been meaning to get the other folders because I was really impressed by the Borka's quality.
