Epic SEVENth month mail call

Crazy how opinions change. Awesome collection of 7s, I just got a BT flipper and it is much better than the SF I had (very sticky lock). The bearings are so smooth. If you ever decide you don't like the 7 again let me know, I'd love to make a trade for that custom. The 7 customs are hard to find and that looks like you got a new one. Good score.

Right you are. Previously the 7 and I just didn't click, even though I wanted it to. But the plain SF (middle of the pic's) somehow changed that - I fell in love. And the Custom (Blue Seven) is just beyond perfect - any time something else wriggles into my pocket, I jones for the Custom.

Thanks, one last embellishment; now she's done (except for EDC patina):

Dude. Wow.

What is going on on the flat side? Did you do that finish, or is that from Emerson? That looks awesome.

PS. Please advise how one would obtain the silver fittings found in your family pic! 3rd party screws or stripping?
Those, too, look sweet!

I wondered he same thing about the flat side of the blade. Did that just happen in the photo, as in a reflection, or is it really like that?

If it's a reflection, too bad, because it looks way cool!

If is is a reflection, get the photo framed, because it looks awesome. Worth putting on your wall somewhere, even in the shop.

The screws that were in that SF (black grip) are stock ones with the black oxide polished off then roughed to a satin finish. I have them on my Waveless OD with custom jade G10 bolster and green Micarta slab scales now.

That is what the back side of an Emerson handmade Custom looks like, no photographic wizardry. Here it is again along with a Custom Super Roadhouse I stupidly sold a while back:

Dude that is SEVERELY sexy. I wish the average Joe had an easier time getting one.

As per the screws, how does one polish? I'd like to do that, along with the clip, on one of my 7's.

Hope it doesn't void the warranty. They didn't say anything about my sanded scales, so I'd think it'd be fine since it doesn't affect the function.

Thx!

Just a little Flitz, Mother's Mag Polish, or anything similar, on a cloth then rub the head until black is gone. For faster results, some 600 grit or finer sandpaper.

Man, I love your pictures, OM. That custom is just wicked.
